  2. Just knowing that I am fasting.

  3. I love tinking about the environement and the feeling of hunger because of what we wait for Azan to eat and I love to feel the sesation of real Islamic days, be it for one month or less!

  4. more food for me

  5. Everything but my fav is that the shayateen r chained.

  6. First is reading Quran after Fajr. and after Asr and second is cooking for Iftar, aahhh thats the best part, Alhumdulillah~!

  7. How you get to practice being a better Muslim and the gr8 food! Salam

  8. Shaitan is locked up.

    All the blessings.

Not thinking about food and wasting so much time!!!

Performing salah with more dedication. And especially reciting Qur'an EVERYDAY!

  9. it teaches discipline I suppose...

  10. Everything!! The fact that I enjoy not eating when actually I LOVE my food ceases to amaze me still. I love getting up in the morning and just the feeling that you get. Everything is so peaceful in that month! :)

  11. I love eating together also, but even more so do I enjoy putting in that extra effort to read more of the Quran and nafl prayers. I feel a deeper closeness to Allah (swt) during ramadhan.

  12. The Double Hasanat (good deeds)

  13. all its days and nights are peaceful and blessed, and the Taraweeh prayers.

  14. Shaytaan is locked up and everyone in my community are very cautious when it comes to sinning (The fear for Allah increases in our hearts). Just the environment of Ramadan says it all.

  15. That it teaches restraint and sympathy. I saw a old guy, who was homeless, eating out of a trash can yesterday....poor man was so thirsty, was he taking used take out cups that had tea bags and chewed on them to try and get somethign to drink. And he was eating used gum. :( And there I was, full from a big lunch. So I really feel that Ramadan teaches sympathy, because I think that we Muslims can indentify with the feeling of not having anythign to eat during the day. I mean, we pay a small price, because we are assured food at night. But men, women and children like this aren't. So Ramadan gives you a huge reality check. That's what I love most about it.

I gave him $5 so that he could have something to eat----it's not the point, but i odn't want you guys to think that I just stood there and didn't do anyhting

  16. I like slowing down and inshallah taking the time to remember what's REALLY important in life.
