  1. 1. The fried clams at John's Lunch in Dartmouth (Windmill Road)

    2. Point Pleasant Park even if it was flattened by a hurricane a few years back - it still has stupendous views.

    3. The Farmers Market

    4. The Hydrostone neighborhood including the trendy little streetscape along Young Street

  2. I enjoy the boardwalk along the harbour and a trip on the ferry. It's a cheap and cheerful way to see the city from the water.

  3. The people are great. The bigger places I have been too like Toronto, nobody stops at crosswalks or holds doors for you or anything. There's almost 0 homeless people, and there are so many good restaurants! And the shopping. The malls are pretty good for a smallish town!

I like bigger cities for the shopping and hubbub, but here the people are nicer, it smells better (no smog), and it's small enough that you know a lot of people that you see!

  4. The Old Triangle

    Propeller Bitter

    Atlantic News on Morris St.

    Closeness to Chester

  5. there is about 50 bars all in about a 3 block area and the food is great
