One of my favorites is Silver Birch,

You can make tea from it, and the pot to boil the water in, and the cup to drink it from all from the bark.

The other layers give a fine paperlike bark, good for starting your campfire. It has wonderful straight branches, of varying sizes for tinder, kindling and fuel.(Dead Trees of course)

You can then observe the insects living on the tree and the birds living in the tree, as you drink your birch tea.
