  1. Okay...well, im not sure what year your in but im in year 12, i just did a 3 hour english exam today so here go's...

Adrianna Lima's eyes are extremely capturing, they lure the audience in to read more, and although the add is for powder, her eyes are a focus point to entice the audience to view more. Her features are kept understated, as the main focus is to sell the powder, so she has a natural lip shade and pretty natural eyes.

(depending on what year your in you could use this, but you may not be up to it yet)...The language techniques used are highly effective in capturing the readers attention. The words are bold, and there is a lot of visual aspects involved which is the selling point for the product. They have used Assonance (assonance is where similar letters or sounds are used in a sentance, mainly vowels) in the first sentance..

    "Our new pOwder sensation"

And have used an actual picture of the product, which has been touched up majorly. Their main selling point is the 'suede touch puff' which gives the illusion that you MUST have this suede touch puff for powder that looks good.

    good luck =]

  2. Her blush is too close to her cheeks. her nose is also too brown.

  3. the model's face.

and d**n is it photoshopped to high heaven. that's not a very good ad. her skin looks terrible. haha.

  4. My eyes went to her lips first and then her eyes.  It took a second or two before I noticed the makeup on the right.

  5. First impression: a dull, commonplace ad

What grabs my attention: I swear I could just walk by and never notice that there was an ad...

  6. The fake blue eyes - I need those contacts, it's probably a photo fix though - darn!

  7. Eyes and lips.

  8. Her lips... oh sweet jesus, her face is gorgeous, if not completely and utterly photoshopped...

I would prefer a more realistic face, though... and with dark hair, yes...

  9. First her eyes,

    second the compact,

    then those lips.

    Adriana Lima is my wife

  10. I was dragged to her clear complexion (no acne, acne scars, or freckles.) As this is a ad for makeup to cover theese things up, i am definately lured to buy some because of "what the make-up did to her face"- cough cough - Photoshop. Not to pin out Adriana Lima, because she is a great model, and i still think she is extremely talented.

  11. i would have to agree with everything said above. eyes - gorguss, lips, a work of art, her face, everything about her. if they want to sell the product they need to make it stand out more

  12. Her eyes. Gorgeous.

  13. The skin tone..

  14. My eyes firstly went to her eyes and then on the make-up...

    =]

  15. her lips & the make up compact

  16. Her blue eyes, then lips.

  17. She's fine as h**l.

  18. The first thing that grabs my attention is her eyes.

    The product barely stands out.

    lol.

  19. the eyes then the makeup jar

  20. the cheap crappy make-up

  21. her eyes and then the golden healthy glow on her

  22. Those blue eyes definitely!

  23. The eyes. Then I sort of thought ORANGE!

  24. it shows the girls beauty......this is why that the people who often show this end up wanting desperately to be like her....thin,slender,fair skinned & hot.....its the truth

  25. thats a terrible pic of her she looks so chizzled and stiff but yea eyes and lips look good

  26. her blue eyes
