  1. My first thought - when I'm driving, is to find a place to pull over.

  2. Accident with an ambulance responding.

  3. If I'm driving, my first thought is "where is it?"

If I'm home with my 2-year-old grandson, it's "ambulance coming!" They frequently zoom past our house.

Any other time, I always think of what a friend said to me years ago: "I hate the sound of a siren. It always means trouble in someone's life."

  4. oh god i hope noone is hurt...

  5. Emergency my first thought when I hear a siren... Thats good that when you hear a siren you will pray for the safest of your family.

  6. To locate my daughter who has already flipped one car in her learning experience that could have killed her and two girls with her.

  7. Car accident......

  8. When I'm driving my first thought is to look around to see if I need to slow down or pull over to let the emergency vehicle by. I'm surprised that a lot of people just keep going. I always pray that no one got seriously injured.

  9. If I'm working, I'm usually trying to figure out how I can use the siren to stay safe and get around the traffic I'm using it to avoid and warn.

If I'm off duty, I will usually look behind me and move right if needed to allow passage.  I also try to get and guess the apparatus type (police, fire, EMS vehicle, etc) if I'm not driving.

  10. I say ****, and i hope there not for me

  11. I hope that the other cars do the right thing and yeild to emergency vehicles.  It is surprising how often they don't
