Whats your opinion about Kenneth Haywood fleeing?

Haywoods computer was used to send e mails relating to the recent bomb blasts in Ahmedabad, etc. Yet he was treated with kid gloves by the Indian police and never arrested. The Indian police are quick to arrest other suspects even for the pettiest of offences, even where an arrest is not necessary.

If an Indian were in similar circumstances in the US, he would have been handcuffed and sent to Guantanamo or similar place as an 'enemy combatant'. The Indian student whose e mail was hacked to send threats is in US custody for 2 years even though his father [B Subbarao] showed the court how easy it is to hack into an email id. Todays papers report that Haywood and his family have fled the country and are now back in the USA. Will India make any move to extradite him?

What is your opinion about the way this case has been handled or mishandled?
