Whats your opinion on anorexia/bulimia?

Do you think its good, bad, or the person who has it's decision, and why?

i understand why they do it but i know its bad and so do allot of other people and in my opinion i think they should ask for help i know allot of bulimic people and ive help alot so i think it unfair to the person whos doing it to be putting them self in so much pain.

Bulimia and anorexia does not make a person good or

bad. It's a mind disease and I think it's something that

people can develop on their own when something

stressful is going on in their life. It's a way for people

to feel like they are in control of something....

People who are bulimic or anorexic need to feel good

about themselves and should be reminded daily that

they ARE BEAUTIFUL no matter what anyone else says.

it's not a decision, it's a disorder. people who are anorexic and bulimic dont have a choice..they can't stop whenever they want to.

maybe they trigger themselves is their choice but they wouldn't be triggering themselves if they didn't have the disorder to begin with!

it's really addicting...i was bulimic for years..i didn't do it every day but i had periods where i couldn't stop for days or weeks. at first i thought "wow this is great i can eat and lose weight, and i love making diet plans and counting calories and exercising" but like anorexia, it becomes an obsession that takes over your life...you don't enjoy anything anymore

You don't really make the decision to be either. Its a compulsion which means you can't help it. People who have eating disorders are sick and they need help so therefore I would say they are bad. It really isn't anyone's place to judge them.
