I reckon the police knew days ago that there were only two bodies (the mum and daughter) inside and have delayed releasing this news to have a few days to find the father without him knowing they were on to him.

I don't know the details, but its awful! Maybe they had a reason, but his wife and his fifteen year old daughter were caught in the blaze aswell. No reason is good enough for murder like that.. :(

I think that the millionaire killed his family and then started fire before killing himself. I know its a terrible to say but thats what i think will come out. Just think if he killed himself he'd cause all that heartache for his wife and daughter so maybe thats why he did kill them as well.

Reason could be to do with his fanicial problems?

Greed and money make people do despicable things. I believe he murdered his family and torched his home to spite everyone and his vast debts.

i don't know all the details like everyone,but from what i do know i think its shocking how can anyone do that regardless if he was gonna lose it,nothing deserves that, slaughter your family and all the pets and animals,i think its really bad,shocking,i was only talking about it earlier,to some after living the life style he did,its obvious he couldn't do it,he mustn't of thought he could live a normal life,with nothing,i don't know the reason but that's the only thing i could think of why..still theres no need for that,that's just un called for,i would rather have nothing.and live,if anything and its sad to say if he couldn't handle the fact,he should of took it out on himself as it was his making not his family's etc..

As the guy owes 2 million quid (that we know about) if he simply wanted to escape the debt and disappear he could have gone to one of the other "secret" properties he is reported to have.

My gut feeling is that he owes money to a loan shark and has been unable to pay and so they have torched the house as revenge and a warning to others. If it was him, why would he kill the animals as well?
