Whats your opinion on white guys with dreadlocks?

I'm gonna get my hair dreaded in a couple of months but I'm a lil worried about how some people perceive white guys with them. Your answers wont bother me because I'm doing it regardless. I just want to be some what prepared for other peoples reactions.

I think it is nasty and looks as if they didn't shower. I mean really whats in there hair it could be anything hiding in there.

hey, do what you wanna do man :) As long as you like it then its fine. I have never seen any white person with dreads in person.. but im sure it would be fine as long as you keep them clean etc.

Well i really wouldn't care what anyone would think of me personal, if they don't like it they don't have to look, the only thing about that is your gonna have to cut your hair off after you are done rockin them out.

this is what an american idol contestant with dreadlocks looked like. do you really want to have your hair. it doesn't matter to me what race has dreadlocks i just think it looks ugly on everyone.
