I am a mccain fan, lets just getthat out of the way. I want to see after the vice presidential speecsh last night which was AWEEEEESOME how close everyone thinks the election will be. I want non biased opinion. I will give 1 person 10 points!!!

i think it'll be extremely close. just look at the answers in here. half the people give a thumbs up and half the people give a thumbs down on questions, that just shows how divided we are.

Closer than some people expect.  I've been a registered Democrat my whole life but I suspect a lot of us have become closet Republicans.

Republicans are slowly diminishing in popularity, I think.

The last time I checked (about 3 days ago), Obama/Biden had almost 50% approval, while McCain had roughly 42%.

I am an Obama supporter.  I truly believe that the election will be close, but believe Obama will be elected President.

I think that itll be pretty close just because for once the presidency isn't going to be decided by party. the independents are going to be the ones who decide.

Well, Palin is a real powerhouse for the republican ticket, but we won't really know how close the election will be until the debates begin.
