Whats your predictions for the hughes and alves match?

I think Hughes feels like he has something to prove after getting embarassed by St.Pierre, who totally dominated him. I thought St.Pierre would beat him, but not so convincingly. I look for Hughes to come out and be the aggressor, and to win by a submission.

Interesting match up, with two very different style fighters. It's pretty clear that Hughes will not stand with Alves and wants this fight on the ground. Alves will try to keep this fight standing as much as possible. Alves is known for being a slow starter and I look for Hughes to exploit that earlier, taking Alves down and "ground and pounding" his opponent early so Alves can never get comfortable. Alves is the younger, more hungry fighter, but I think Hughes has more in the tank then he is getting credit for. I see Hughes taking Alves down early and often, getting the stoppage sometime in the 2nd round, via ground and pound
