  1. B, with conditions

Global warming as a natural part of the climate cycle is real, just like the global warming that's happening on mars and jupiter. Anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is invented by the politicians of the green movement, and propagated by al gore and others hungry for power, in order to control economic and social policy.

  2. a-caused by obesity and over consumption and aggravated by cyclical solar events

but don't tell my kids because they actually believe that i think it is a hoax.

they get soooooooooo irritated at me and i think it is hilarious

  3. A- we need to stop being selfish and protect the earth for our children and grandchildren and many other generations to come. people need to wake up and realize whats around them!!!!

  4. A. But it is not a matter of opinion. Man-made global warming is proven fact.

  5. C

but the sun is getting bigger and the earths water will eventually evaporate but I BELIEVE not you! the second coming will come Before that

  6. Solar radiation is not the cause of recent global warming, two scientists say in a report published by Britain's Royal Society, the country's science organization.

The new study by Prof Michael Lockwood of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, near Oxfordshire, and Claus Fröhlich of the World Radiation Center in Davos, Switzerland, overturns claims by climate septics who say that the planet's climate has long fluctuated and that current warming is just part of that natural cycle

  7. A- one also needs to consider, over population, deforestation, pollution of our fresh water sources.

  8. A!

    B&C are foolish positions.

  9. A is the only believable position, but kudos to Rainbow Warrior for asking:  what do YOU think?

  10. I think its a combination of A & the natural cycle of the planet. A lot of leading scientists subscribe to the cycle theory but I have to believe we contribute some as well. Just not as much as Al Gore claims.

  11. Who cares what we think, what do you think?

Regardless of A B or C, is it OK for those of us now living to be consuming more than our fair share of natural resources and leaving less for those in the future?

Should we leave the planet better than we found it, or should we just use it up and not care what history will record about us?

Should we develope and use our critical thinking skills, or just go along with a faith based system in denial of reality?

What kind of person are you? What do you believe?

  12. I don't believe that 'global warming' (IF the Earth is getting warmer) is man-made.  For that matter....I don't believe that even Al Gore believes that.  If he and the other so-called  climate 'experts'/groupies REALLY believed it, THOUSANDS of them would not have piled on pollution-spewing jet planes to attend a climate conference in Bali....where they discussed how WE (Not Them) should be more responsible in our use of energy!  If they REALLY believed, they would have met via video-conference.

  13. D - think climate change is happening, but man isn't causing it and it isn't warming

  14. I beleive that it is man-made, 'cause I think so, hee hee!

  15. A.  By the way, I saw the recent snowfall in Baghdad!

  16. none of the above,

the sun is getting hotter, mars is getting warmer too!

  17. A.

i feel humans have contributed very much so, but not entirely

  18. Real, mostly caused by us.  Don't trust me, the proof is in the links.

This is science and what counts is the data.

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)

    Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut

Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly and the vast majority of the scientific community, short and long.

There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:

And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know...  Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point.  You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."

  19. B

It is cyclical.  Politicians took advantage of it to gain the support of earth worshipers.  Now that the earth is in its cooling cycle, they will claim credit.
