Whats your view on latest estimate in paper about immigrant population.?

Its says by 2013 more than 71% of this country will be immigrants from places like Pakistan, India ect... Where will the rest of us go, back from where they came from. Mad this government,mad. Its making me worry that there will be no British Isles soon in the future. Its even worse when my wife told me a person she knows has waited over 5 yrs for a flat, yet a person from abroad got one within 3 wks. Now who do you say is racists, i'm not but better judgement should be given or else you may start to get serious riots in the future.

this may be the case. but lets not base all your assumptions on one induvidual case. British first came to India in the early 1700's  British rule came to an end in 1947, the subcontinent was partitioned along religious lines into two separate countries—India, with a majority of Hindus, and Pakistan, with a majority of Muslims. this later caused wars between people who were once brothers of one nation. times have changed now and lets start understanding the past before we look to the future.

Hi Jolly Roger,

Firstly, I don't think this question is racist and you should not feel intimidated to ask it. The concern is with over-population and not racism and I agree, the thought frightens me - where will it lead to. If you read Enoch Powells "Rivers of Blood" speech  carefully (easily found in a search engine) you will see that this was his concern twenty years ago and no one took any notice.

As for you wife's friend having to wait 5 years for a flat - you may like to look at one of my closed questions.

Dude, I haven't read that paper (I live in the US) but I had no idea you guys are having that problem in the UK too! Here in the states we have a major problem with the mexicans literally invading our country. They have mexican military come onto our land and shoot our people just so that their illegals can cross the border. They commit crime (95% of warrants for murder in LA are for illegals), cost us money (in total, the free healthcare, services, etc. have cost us 400 Billion dollars) they don't assimilate, and they just all around are taking over. My question is, why don't we do anything about it? I mean I think the problem is that being civilized nations, especially you guys, you're like the most polite country in the world, we feel that we need to help everyone else. The thing is by doing so we're going to totally destroy ourselves. I know we are over here at least.

By 2031 they will out number us due to the prolific birthrate amongst immigrant families, whereas the British populous generally has 2 kids at most some Pakistanis etc have upto 6...do the math it does not take an Einstein to work out we are headed for extinction in our own land.

Edit Your right it is very worrying I really am concerned for my kids who are just tots at the moment, I try and instill British values on them but unfortunately this mass PC drivel and kow towing is just madness.

I can tell you they are always wrong estimating.

They were when they opened UK to eastern Europe and they will always be.

The system (welfare) that the UK has going on was perfect for lazy benefit thieves and people in hardship as well. I can't however work in the changing world we now live in.

People need to get used to migrants and migrants need to make a greater effort to contribute to the country.

Being annoyed with situation like you describe about the flats is normal, but I do advocacy and community development and trust me the opposite happens, when migrants who came to work, and have done find themselves in hardship many obstacles are put in their way as well as a tone of paperwork that most brits don't understand.

I think we should learn to live together, either with our brit neightbour either with the migrant in the house next door.

My opinion, blame the government that is still trying to make changes to a system that doesn't need changes, it needs anew system.

We'll be an ethnic minority; plain and simple. We either need to do something soon or watch our old, beautiful country dissolve infront of us. Times are changing rapidly for our country and I fear it's almost too close to midnight for us. Good luck, Britain.

I'm afraid the traitorous labour party have dealt a fatal blow to old Britain. she will not recover because the British will not fight!.....once a people get so weak that they stand aside when their own country is being given away against their wishes....the country is finished. Britain will be in Muslim hands within ten years, and god help our children when that hate fuelled religion  is in full charge of  our country. our kids lives will be worth nothing. there is no place on earth that is dominated by Islam that is at peace. our streets will be like killing fields. they are heading that way even now!! the fact that every body seems content to bury their heads in the sand and refuse to face! the problem is what makes it inevitable.
