  1. India is not only a country ,but also a sub-continent by itself. It is not easy to govern a country like India, especially in a democratic set up. Still it is a functioning democracy, and a far better governance model unlike some communist/dictatorship countries. So, don't be scared, come and join the fun!

  2. They are a Bunch of Jokers (if I may borrow this for a while from M Amarnath), who are a law unto themselves.

They are not accountable to anyone, neither the public who elects them, nor the judiciary of the country.

They are corrupt, so don’t for a moment believe they have the welfare of the people at heart. They put themselves first, then their party, and then if it counts (as in votes) the citizens.

They are the scariest group of people you could ever think of.

To compound it all they are the UGLIEST group of people ever!

But don’t let me put you off. If you accept certain facts and don’t bang your head (more because of the Government employees one has to deal with) then you are AOK here. Take it with a pinch of salt.

We leave them very much to their devices, and generally hope they leave us to ours.

We live happily here, and if a minister dies (rarely!) we take a holiday or go on a picnic.

I love it here! I love my India…

    So far so good, Touchwood!

  3. India is a fantastic country. This government if continues for another 2 terms will put India among the top community of nations, which actually we deserve to be in. The lawlessness that you see is because the political parties who are supposed to lead us themselves make a mockery of democracy by resorting to hooliganism and rowdism. I was watching the proceedings of the Lok Sabha and was disturbed to see that the speaker was pleading with the politicians to show decorum again and again. I don't think that in the whole 18 hours of debating on a vital national issue, just about 2 hours were spent on meaningful debate, and that too amidst frequent uproars and commotions.

Displaying wads of 1000 rupees notes to divert the attention of the people from the real issue was a deliberat attempt by a political party to get some limelight. Now that these people have been shown the place they deserve to be in, India will see some healthy polity from here on.

Come to India after 4-5 months. There will be more clanliness then.

  4. wht govt does follow the laws they force others to obey....

  5. A person in ICU will avail all the possible sources, including being in debt. So our PM is indebted to the SP and their foul playing for survival.  Cheersssssssssss  its politics.

  6. Presently the political scene appears to be the brightest as far as employment potential is concerned. You are invited to get on the bandwagon. If it doesn't work out to your satisfaction, you can always go back to your

Britain.Meanwhile you can go down in history as a Law maker. For the first time in your life you will frame laws instead of merely following

    them.Have a Bash.

  7. I think you should take a trip to India talk with some of the natives in order to educate yourself on these thing that matters to you most...

  8. Well, let me tell you whether they follow the law or not is a different issue, this is the most third grade government ever seen, there was a very good view which Netaji Subash Chandra Bose said, that is, this country i mean India laks a proper Administrator & it laks Dictatorship these two are the first vital things that a government requires, to run the shore.
