Whats your words of wisdom?

I am facinated about these words of wisdom people hear throughout there life and i was wondering if anyone would like to share?

Mines is "life is to short" but then my granpa corrected me by saying "that may be the case but its the longest thing i will ever do".

According to my father, his father once told him, "Never back a man into a corner with no way to get out.  He'll go THROUGH you."  I have to tell you, hearing about these words of wisdom really made me wonder about my family!

My answer is coined from the words of Sir Winston S. Churchill, the one person, who led the world to freedom in the second World War when England stood alone, unsure if the Allies would join the cause for freedom.  This freedom, we all enjoy today is because of his fortitude, determination and foresight.  He made a statement about the air men of Great Britain, "Never in the field of human conflict have so many owed so much to so few".  We enjoy that freedom now because valiant men and woman gave up their lives for our freedom and, are still doing so today.  Let us remember his further words, "Never, never surrender".
