  1. I went on super man at six flags and the guy in front of me was wearing a cape that kept hitting me in the face as we went down the hill!

  2. i was on this ride at a traveling amusement park type thing (it was kinda like raging river at Great Escape) and the boat thing we were in was really shotty..so anyway me and 5 of my friends got on the thing..and the boat tipped over while we were going downhill....and my friend couldn't swim so she took me down with her..(even though it was like 4 feet deep lol) and so they had to send security to help us off the ride.

  3. I was at the Ohio State Fair and was riding a ride that went around in a circle while I was riding these little car things.  It was only supposed to be 2 minutes long, but they guy didn't stop it and it went for 5 minutes.  By the time my brother and I finally got off, we could barely walk because we were so dizzy and we were ready to vomit.  He had parents yelling at him and everything, but the guy didn't seem to care!  Another ride at the fair was the big slides you ride down on a potato sack.  Ya....I totally jumped a hill and killed by butt.  I was in pain for the rest of the day and it didn't help that I was being judged for 4-H with a sore butt.  With these two experiences, I haven't rode a fair ride since!

  4. I was on the Shockwave as Six Flags Great America (Chicago) and it started raining.  The tracks were slippery and caused the car train to run a bit faster than normal, and on the first spiral I blacked out.  When the train came into the station, EMS was on the scene as the entire train of people had blacked out as well!  We were all sent to the hospital and the ride was shut down.  It was torn down the following summer.

  5. Being stuck upside down for about 10 minutes on Deja Vu at Six Flags over georgia. They had to roll us back into the station where the medical crew looked at us to see if we were ok.

  6. When I was 5 or so I was on the only wooden roller coaster left in America, forgot where its at, but I believe they still run it though. It has no bar that comes down to hold us in or anything, so I sat in with my dad and my uncle. When we got to the top of the 2nd hill we went down and put our hands up and I started flying out. Luckily they got me before I went anywhere. I was only 5 but its such a bad experience that I can even remember it now. I think that's the reason I'm afraid of coasters now.

  7. My worst ride experience was when we went to Quassi Park in Connecticut on a summer camp field trip.  It was a roller coaster (the only one there), that was clearly outdated.  But, since it was the only one there, and there wasn't much better to do, I decided to ride.  Suddenly, halfway through the ride, which has many hairpin turns 50ft up, I make the shocking discovery that my seat belt couldn't stay shut.  It was pretty much a matter of hold on for dear life (literally!).  The seats were sort of like single car log flume style, and without a bar and only a seat belt, I had never felt more scared in my life.  And I am usually quite the thrill seeker (since I rode my first roller coaster I know want to go to college and break into the business of roller coaster engineering), but after that experience, I don't really feel the need to ever return to Quassi again...

  8. apocolips (drayton manor) it stopped on its way up because a guys phone fell out his pocket and smashed whoops

    lol

  9. At a local fair one year, I was on a ride where you're in these cages and they spin around upside down and whatnot.  My safety bar came up and wouldn't lock back down, so I had to push my hands and feet against the cage so I wouldn't fly around.  If it hadn't been for the cage around me, I would have flown out of the ride.  I told the guy running the ride about it, and he didn't do anything, he just let other people ride in the same seat and everything.

  10. At Six Flags my friends i  were riding Goliath, and the ride got stuck on the way top of the ride and we had to stay there for like 20 mins

  11. I have had several bad experiences... On the Mr. Freeze Ride at Six flags in Arlington, the force was so strong that I ended up with a burst blood vessel in my right eye.  Also, that same trip my friends and I were on the RunAway Mountain (the indoor coaster) and we got stuck at the bottom of the track because there was a "ghost train" that set off one of the sensors, stopping our train from entering the next zone.  It wouldn't have been so bad but one of my friends is terrified of coasters and we had spent all day convincing her nothing would happen if she rode the indoor one.

Also, two of my friends (a number of years back) were riding a ride (I think it was called Mind Eraser- or something like that.  It's been renamed since then) at Frontier City and they brought the shoulder harnesses down to a locking position and did the seatbelt buckle.  When the ride operators hit the button that locks the harnesses down, there was a malfunction and all the harnesses started pressing into them.  One of my friends had deep bruising and the other one had a broken collarbone.

  12. 1. We were at Silverwood and we went on Tremors and my poor little 4 year sister's legs flew out the side when they were going down hill and my mom unbuckled just to save her. It was scary.

    2. I'm silverwood again and one of my friends is all like I want to go on Tremors i want to go on tremors so we get on the ride and at least 30 seconds into the ride she relizes how high we are and she starts screaming her head off and everyone looks back at us I mean we were being pulled up so I was listening to this deafining screaming through out the whole ride. I'm trying to put my hands up and she just grabs me and hangs on for the rest of the ride screaming in my ear! It was terrible.

  13. mine was after waiting for hours in line it broke down right before i went on it so i had to wait another hour or so. They fixed it then i went on it and it wnet upside down and i threwup upside down and it got in my hair

  14. 2 years ago my hubby and me was at Lake Winnie and we were on the pirate ship, and in  mid air the bars camed up. We're talking the ride was at top speed. It was scary!

  15. so i was on the grizzly in Paramounts Kings Domionion and we had waited about 30 mintues to get on and let like 6 people cut us so we could all go together (i was with a single mom with three kids and me so someone had to go single and it was the 10 year old so he needed to go with us and the mom didnt want me and the 12 year old going by ourselves) and they only had one kart running so it took forever and then when we got on the guy really didnt check my restrant because i took so long putting my stuff in the cubby and the restrant came LOOSE during the ride and luckily enough i was able to SHOVE it back down and i was freaked out the whole ride..it was so creepy!  I thought i was gonna die!!!!!
