i run about 6-9 miles at 8:30 in the morning, what foods would be best to eat for breakfast?

  1. Bread will give you the energy. Drink lots of water before. A banana will help the lactic acid that builds in your muscles and help cramping.  


  2. spagetti! for that starch

  3. something light..I've heard bananas are good to eat before going running. Stay away from stuff like mac & cheese, spaghetti and stuff like that. It will slow you down and make it harder to run.

  4. Eat healthy foods with carbs for energy. Drink plenty of water so you don't get dehydrated.

  5. Complex carbohydrates like whole wheat bread, fruit, etc.  They break down more slowly than refined sugar so you have energy longer and also break down easier than fat or protein so you have the energy avaliable sooner.

  6. eat a banana; they keep you from getting cramps. sounds stupid but its worked for me.

  7. bananas- they have a ton of protein that gives u energy
