What´s the best way of getting from Charles de Gaulle Airport( Paris) to Porto Versailles area?

Hi , I´m off to Paris next week and I was wondering which would be the best way of getting from the Charles deGaulle Airport in Paris to the Porto Versailles area, ( staying at H.Exelmans)Train, Metro or Taxi.

  1. train/subway because there is actually a train station under the airport and you can train hop and that will be the easiest way


  2. The name of your district is actually Porte de Versailles. The fastest and cheapest way is the RER (commuter train):

    RER B to St-Michel Notre Dame station where you connect with RER C (direction Versailles Rive Gauche or St-Quentin en Yvelines) and get off at Boulevard Victor. Then your hotel is a 5-minute walk across the bridge (Pont du Garigliano). After the bridge, continue walking straight and your hotel will be on a little side street on the left off the main street. It's a one-hour train trip and it will cost you 8.60 €.

    If you went to métro Exelmans there would be too many connections.

    Otherwise ask your hotel if they have a shuttle. If not, you can book a shared shuttle from the airport to your hotel for 12 € by calling 'Airport Shuttle Service' 48 hours ahead at 01-58-34-01-26. Other companies do it too for about 25 €, which is still half of what a taxi would cost and you can book online 1 day ahead:
