What´s the big thing about Banus, Spain.?

Went there last night and everyone was trying to be the centre of attention. Plus one bar wouldn´t let you sit down as you hadn´t paid for your own private couch but they are willing to take our money for drinks. I have owned a place near Banus for years and never been there after dark and won´t again. Who else feel the same about the place or do you love it.

Its great to kill an hour or so  during the day looking at rich man toys...............but after dark its the wannabees looking to see what they can catch................................

The only big thing about P. Banus are the prices of drinks etc. If you wish to rub shoulders with some big boat owners who don't want to rub shoulders with you, then it's fine, but I'm not taken in by all that kind of stuff.

i live on the other side of Marbella and have done for over two yrs, i don't like the place the only time i visit is when friends come over,..all i can see is it is just over priced and as you said ppl just want to be seen there because it's where the money is. if you take out all the 10 bob millionaires it would be a better place.

I have a place nearby and prefer to go to PB in the daytime and look at the boats and nice cars. Bar and restaurant turnover in PB is 30% down on last year - serves them right!

At night lots of pretty girls become over-friendly in bars and soon enough you realise what the story is !

I've been going there since the mid 70's regularly, though I now live the otherside of Málaga. It's an expensive resort and you can have a great night out, but if you can't afford it, then don't go, it's as simple as that.

Ive lived nearby for 15 years or more and its fast going down hill in peoples opinions along with the local real estate market. The whole coast has forgot what service and value for money is all about.
