I am planning for a job in Dubai, would appreciate if you could help me in detail on the below and on any other that you can think of…

What’s the minimum salary required to work & live a comfortably in Dubai.

The Minimum requirements would be:

A decent car (Corolla/Civic)

1 BHK Rent in Sharjah (Will move with my wife)

Also what’s the life like in the UAE?

Dubai is really amazing. I have only been there once and it was in I was in the Navy, but i was amazed by their architecture!!! Their buildings are magnificent!

The night life there is pretty awesome too....

Hi Frank...

Dubai is a fun place, but is getting rather expensive.  Fortunately for you, you plan to live in neighboring Sharjah, which is much cheaper, but also quite conservative.  You can get away with a lot more in Dubai, culturally speaking.

Not sure what you'll be doing here, or if you're coming alone, but for a single guy?  I wouldn't want you to make less than 15,000 Dhs a month.

life there is awesome if u had enough money... but it's really great!!

i don't live there anymore but it was sooo freakin awesome.

i did here that dubai is getting too overpopulated and u'd have to wait alot to do something.. u can't even park ur car when u go to places.. u can't walk in the supermarket... and stuff.. but from what i remember it's great :D

i don't know about the salary, but i heard it's getting pretty expensive and it's hard to find a place to live... but i'm sure companies r giving higher salaries now that it's getting more expensive...
