What’s the most fascinating marine mammal for you?

I really love nature and I'm very fond of animals. That’s why I’m so deeply concerned with environmental issues as well as the global environmental situation. I’m Brazilian and Brazil is unfortunately among the countries with the most endangered or threatened species. Among so many awesome creatures, I’m fascinated by whales. These gentle giants can sing to communicate with each other and are animals with an elaborate social life as well as dolphins. Unfortunately, many species are threatened with extinction because of a large predatory fish activity, and sea bed is increasingly being damaged or destroyed by fishermen. So marine mammals are vulnerable or endangered because they’re primarily ocean-dwelling or depend on the ocean for food – like polar bears.

What do you think about it? What is the most interesting and fascinating marine mammal for you? Why?

seals are probably the best aquatic mammal because they are intelligent they always remind me of dogs with flippers they are also pretty agile when they want to be .

My favorite marine mammal would be the humpback whale. The fact it can carry 5x their weight with the sprouting water of its blowhole makes it more stronger than other whales in the ratio of size and force. It also has an interesting look as its hump is actually near the tail of the whale.

Dolphins.  They exhibit such intelligence.

I like orcas since they are pretty smart and look cool. I also like the "killer" in killer whales. :)

for me it's the dolphin, they seem so elegant diving in the seas, and they a are very intelligent marine mammal. i live in the UK, hear i have not yet had any opportunity to see any marine mammals, not even when i have been to Greece or turkey on my holidays.

Whoops. Didn't read the question. Whales for me.....but land mammals....Elephants. The way they stick together and spread the bones when one dies and they sniff over a dead member. So sensitive.

a sort of seal with a kinda snout! i think they are majestic and interesting animals!

I love dolphins and whales! Dolphins are so intelligent and fascinating. Whales are too! I'm so worried about them!
