Rasmussen has him at a statiscally insignificant 3% bump in the polls.

Liberal Yahoo/AP are having orgasms with a 9% Gallup poll:

He was supposed to get a 15% bump per all the Obama sicophants.

Now he gets single digit temporary lead and they're all circle jerking each other! ROFLMAO!

  1. CNN today said it is 49 to 48

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/31/o...

    They are a democratic station.

  2. The average bump is 16 points, he fell short of that and whats even more important is how long his bump will stay before it comes back down to a dead even race again.

  3. Considering Obama should have been ahead by 10 points to begin with, any temporary bump he gets won't be sustainable through the election.

Add to that the 13-15 year olds that make up the majority of liberal posts on yahoo and the picture becomes more clear.

    They can't vote.

  4. He wasn't supposed to get a 15 point bump. The Republicans said he was supposed to get a 15  point bump so they could hail anything less as a failure.

Obama got a 6 point bump,a litte less than average. Probably stunted by the Sarah Palin announcement.

Bounces never last. They get everyone excited and then things fizzle out.

Bob Dole got a big bounce after his convention see how well that worked out??

Start watching the poles in three weeks, thats when they start to count for something.

  5. As noted previously, CNN shows him this morning with a whole 1 point bump. Gallup doesn't carry the significance that it once did after it's abysmal record in the past 2 Presidential elections. Even still, I figure they are putting the best face possible on Obama. If think that after tweaking, slanting, spinning and tilting their polls as much as possible for Obama, all they can manage is a 9 point bump, Obama is in trouble.

  6. Supposed where? By whom? I saw nothing pre-speech but people saying things like 'dead cat bounce' and 'small bump'...which appears to be exactly what's happened.
