Question:

Whay is my bunny doing this??

My rabbit is about 6 years old. he is litter trained and lives in my room. ok so for the past couple of mornings my rabbit has jumped on my bed to wake me up to feed him (which is normal) so i get up feed him and go back to sleep but then about 2 hours later he wakes me up again! it bugs so does anyone know what might be the problim. and yes he has hay and water.

  1. He's bored and wants your attention.  To him it's get up and go time and he doesn't understand why you're still in bed ignoring him (not intentionally).  It's just his way of getting your attention.  You might want to buy him some new toys so he'll be interested in something else early in the morning.  New toys will attract his attention and keep him occupied.  In the alternative, when he jumps up on the bed the second time, you could just let him stay in your bed to nap with you.  If he's more interested in playing than sleeping, pull out one of the new toys and put it down for him to explore.


  2. It could be that he is beginning to feel lonely and wants your attention.  You might want to let your little buddy sleep with you.
