Whay kind of career can I get from a Liberal Arts education?

I am a senior in high school and I want to study liberal arts. But I can't find find a career that can be pursued from this education. Does anyone know any great colleges in NYC [for liberal arts]?

I have a liberal studies Bachelors degree. It was great because it gave me a good foundation of knowledge. I did continue onto my masters in education. So, technically you could go into education. You could go into anything... library media specialist etc...I think the liberal arts degree can be seen as fluff unless you further it by furthering your education through your masters and focus on something.
