Wheat bran as substitution for wheat flour: Recipe calls for 2Cs. for 12 muffins. 1/2c. 3/4c or 1c of bran ?

  1. You can add extra bran but you have to use some flour or your muffins will not only fall apart they will not cook properly, I ama former chef, if you have some bran cereal like all bran, raisin bran or bran flakes they are a good substitute for flour.
