Wheelie on my motorcycle?

I have a 1992 Fzr 1000cc yamaha, it weighs 500lbs, do you think its possible to pop a wheelie on this bike?

Nope, your bike it too heavy.  If you tried, you'll reduce the life of your motorcycle (clutch) and get yourself or other injured or killed!  Get something small or a dirt bike!

No. Yamahas of this era have very grabby clutches that make wheelying off the throttle almost impossible, and certainly mechanically vicious.  You can still loft the front over a crest or hump in the road.

Borrow a VTR1000, Suzuki TL1000S or KTM Superduke and you can wheely very easily, just by banging the throttle open.

Trying to wheelie a bike that doesn't want to is a great way to smash your bike, yourself, the car your bike kits, and to look really stupid, all at once.

you can pop wheelies on anything....scooters, bicycles...

I'm sure a 1000cc wouldn't have any problems...

most sports bikes are 300~400lbs wet anyways...500lbs it's nothing

Just what we need another squid doing wheelies on the public roads. Some day you kids will realize  that being able to Pop a wheelie short wheel base motorcycle is no big trick at all. I hope you all get caught and your licenses suspended

Last time I saw a wheelie on an FZR1000 the little girl driving had to tuck her dress into her socks because it had so much power
