When 12/12/12 goes by without so much as even a hint of a global catastrophe...?

...will deranged soothsayers actually find something meaningful to do with their time instead of constantly obsessing over "end-times" scenarios? Or will they concoct yet another delusion based on junk "science" (numerology) just to draw attention to their own pet causes?

  1. If you are referring to the Mayan calendar, it does not say that it is the end of the world. It does say that there will be a Great Change.

  2. No, they will do nothing meaningful. There's always another delusion on the horizon. My favorite predictions are the ones that have a time. "The world ends at midnight!" As though Satan runs on Eastern Standard Time.

As for me, I've already survived 3 or 4 world endings, so I'm feeling pretty confident. I've never believed in the 2012 apocalypse, but I just saw McCain is ahead in the polls...

  3. LOL good point, but unfortunatly there will always be some new "End of The World" wackjob that will think of another scenario.

  4. nah, theyve already set a new date, the 13th of April 2036 a meteor named apophis is going to hit us. just sit back and let it happen, remember the last time we nearly almost died to the Y2K bug?

  5. I thought it was 12/22/12 for some reason :P  but anyway.. yeah.. since the dawn of mankind, someone has always thought the world was going to end.  And people will continue to think that till they are right.
