  1. if your are inside one of the cars, i would seem like to be going 100mph. but relatively, the speed that they are passing each other is only 50mph.


  2. they converge, pass and diverge at 100 MPH

    it's all about where you are viewing it from - if inside one of the cars the apparent passing speed is 100MPH, whereas someone standing by the side of the road will see them pass at 50MPH

    It's all about relativity - you could always read up on Einstein's Theory of Relativity.

  3. They pass each other at 50 but if they crashed head on it would be an impact speed of 100.
