  1. Look, the pen is already out. rather than have me bumble about, looking for one, he hands it over, I sign off and we can go have beers


  2. Not always. It's just sort of a tradition, or courtesy when signing contractual documents, especially in formal settings. The first signatory hands the pen to the next. I have seen just as many signings in business where each person carries their own pen.

  3. I've seen Race and it's true most of the times. Happens mostly if the two people are in the same family, it's basically because of instinct. It's not like thought about or something.

    Yeah true, it's kinda strange though.
