When's the best time for cleaning out your closet?

When you have someone there that will tell you the truth, if :

1. it makes you look fat.

2. it  is something you wore in high school.

3. they haven't seen you in it in the last year.

4. the color makes you look bad.

5. it has been hanging in your closet for years because    someday you will get back into it.

Then to keep it clean ,every time you buy something new, something old has to go.

I really like to clean it out during or before the next season.  I really look at the things I have worn in the past and truly think to myself if I am ever going to wear them again.  If i didn't wear them through the most recent season in which they were appropriate, who says I will ever want to wear them again.  At that point, they hit the GoodWill bag..sometimes with tags still on them.

you should clean out your closet like every 6 months and ask you self will i be wearing this in the next few weeks or in a few months. and if there is something in the closet that u have not wore in the past 6 months put it in the garbage bez more then likely ur not gonna wear it at all

When your husband complains.

When the doors don't shut.

When you feel like you're in the mood.

When you can't find anything anymore.

When things start falling on your head.

When one of the kids or pets gets lost in there.

Any time you open your closet or drawers and find something that you cannot, will not or have not been able to wear, it is a good time to remove it and place it in a bag to go to your local church or thrift store. Leaving it in there for that fateful day when you have lost enough weight to wear it isn't doing you any  good.
