When's the best week of pregnancy to have the 3D ultrasound?

20 weeks to 33 weeks i had one it was perfect i also tried it today at 36 weeks it was ok her face just looked smashed like she was pressed to a glass window there is not much room so its hard to get the perfect frame i would say at 20 weeks is best

I saw my daughter at 16 weeks and at 36 and it was fun to see them both because of how much she changed!  But I really enjoyed the 16 weeks, they were able to show me the s*x but they say that 20 weeks is best!

i had mine @ 31 weeks and they came out very clear and im havin twins ...

I asked an ultrasound tech. this today at my ultrasound. She said the best time and the time they usually do it is late in the pregnancy when there is a lot of fluid around the baby. Thats when they gets the best images. So Im assuming anytime after 30 weeks. or maybe 28.

Not at all. Why go through an unnecessary procedure? If you insist, sometime after 32 weeks; before that the baby doesn't look all that "cute". You could also spend the money on childcare and breastfeeding classes, giving the baby a gift it will benefit from.

My doctor didnt give me a 3d ultrasound until I was at least 23 weeks cause I was told that anytime before that the baby would just look like a skeleton with skin.

when the fat starts to fill in the baby would be a great time to get a 3d ultrasound and I think thats anytime around 26 weeks or so. then it will look like a real baby :)
