  1. My daughter was breast feeding and was prescribed a low dose birth control pill for breastfeeding mothers. She became pregnant again within 4 months. Her OB-GYN told her that breastfeeding does not prevent pregnancy and her low-dose birth control pill was also much less effective. So if you are a breastfeeding mother that does not want to have another child any time soon you should use a condom or if you want to be 100% sure, do not have sexual intercourse. There is less than 14 months difference in her 2 oldest sons.

  2. 3 weeks I heard once wether its been actually done I dont know. And I cant find any medical info to back it up. So probably 1 month like the other answerer said is more probable. I was on the Mini pill while breastfeeding my oldest and there is always a risk of getting pregnant again while on it. My kids are 2.5 yrs apart but that was planned. I dont know how some do it with kids just months apart I have hard enough time keeping my too somewhat stable and happy with each other.

  3. My friend's aunt got pregnant 3 months after! She was feeling pretty safe - no period, exclusive BF- quite a shock.

  4. 1 months, breastfeeding is not a form of BC
