  1. My mom was totally ok with me babysitting at 12 years old for a few hours from time to time to get some extra spending money.  I would sometimes get $20 for 4 hrs on a Saturday or something and that was great money for me to just get something i had been wanting for awhile.  When i was 14 I was babysitting and during the summers I as a paid aide at a camp for children with special needs and made some good money (for a 14 year old).  I didn't get a different job from that until I was 18 then i got a job at walmart for a little while then superamerica but eventually ended up working in a daycare because I love children but can't stand the adults lol.  Anyways I would say 12 is a good time to start with like occasional babysitting or a paper route or something to save up some spending cash.  I liked that I could actually go out and buy my mom a birthday present and card from me once I started babysitting

  2. I got my first job at 16

  3. Well you have to be at least 14 to qualify for jobs. And 18 to work with food. And over 19 to do construction things.

  4. You have to be 16 to work in the US.

Your best bet is to babysit, Mow lawns, Clean houses, do outside work. Good luck

  5. well i think that most people get jobs when they are 15 and you really don;t need money your parents pay for everything when you get to 17 you can worry about money.
