I think, each time I fill it up with some other feeling.

But I must say here, that this Empty feeling is of the most underestimated situations when it comes to heart.....  For me, this Empty feeling is precious.  Because a heart empties from sorrow and pain. Therefore it is as if some valve automatically opens and protects me from further pain.  It leaves me numb.  It creates a space to be filled up with something new.  As if Emptiness is the name of the core....

By years, I have concluded that emptiness in my heart is a good friend. It is a space where all good things might find place.

When my heart is empty, which does happen once in awhile, I pray.  This is not just a cliche', but when I cannot help myself, but "know" I need help, I ask God to take on the challenge of my broken, empty heart.  Sometimes the help a long time coming, but it's always just when I need it most and I am never let down.
