are u on alltel? they r still working that out. they arent sure if they r just going to take over everything or still be a seperate company just that thier momey goes to verison. i kinda hope that i can get verizon phones though. they r cooler!!!

oh ya and if u go to alltel and change ur plan now u wont have to pay the WAY higher prices.and the merge will take place within 6 months

You will be able to use your alltel phone just the same until the end of your contract.  Everything will stay the same, your plan, your phone, etc. until that date.  Once your Alltel contract ends you will have to upgrade to a verizon phone.  You will have to pay but they will have a reduced price like any other upgrade.  You will have to change phone plans too once the contract ends.  From what its been looking like, My Circle will be gone because it costs too much for the company.  The merge is supposed to be completely done by the end of this year.

your answer is no, i never heard they was merging but.why i say no is cause it takes a couple of years for the networks to bring together. sometimes company's buy out the other with out messing with the networks
