  6. Wouldn't Britain continue to have a prime minister as Canada and Australia do? That office would simply have to take on some ceremonial duties as well unless an election was held for a host/public relations guru.

    Margaret Thatcher has Parkinson's (which was quite evident when attending Ronald Reagan's funeral).

  16. There are few things that would have me building barricades in the streets and looking up instructions on how to make molotov cocktails - but an attempt to turn my home into a republic is one of them.

    If we had a president, that president would, by definition, be a politician - and that simply does not bear thinking about.

    Margaret Thatcher is a very old, and unwell person. She isn't a good bet for any political office.
