When Can You Officially Be Called A Gymnast?

At what level can you be officially called a "gymnast"? PLEASE ANSWER!!!!

I think any level. What do you call someone who plays baseball? A baseball player. Does it matter whether they just started playing, or if they've played for fifty million years? No, they're all called baseball players. I think the same thing applies for gymnastics.

When you study gymnastics.........it can be any level.

You are a gymnast when you start competing. But, real gymnastics starts when you start competing at optional level (level 7 and up). That is what my coaches have brainwashed me into thinking.
