  1. He failed.

  2. He definitely succeeded.

  3. he definately succeeded. he did exactly what he came to do. He took our sins upon him and died for us. he loves us so much that he would rather die than to lose us. now we have the opportunity to have eternal life.

  4. First of all "Sugar Babe" you are so tolerant and gracious I am just overwhelmed!!!

Now to answer the question; I would say it was a complete success as Jesus was able to live a sin free life and provide a bridge to the Father for anyone who is willing to accept the gift...even you Sugar!

  5. The fact that you are talking about him now is indication he succeeded.

  6. well we are still talking about it so I would say he was quite successful.

  7. If you believe in God then his failure would by definition be impossible. Whether he appeared to fail or appeared to succeed, you can't know what his actual goal was. If there is in fact an all-powerful God and he causes an action to occur, it is a success as defined by his own intentions.

(I am not expressing a personal religous opinion.)

  8. Well he came here to DIE for our sins, so yeah, I'd say he did a pretty good job, I mean he isn't still around or anything...

  9. Jesus never came to Earth

Religion is a tool used to control the ignrorant masses

God is as real as a flying spaghetti monster

  10. He succeeded.  Everything He planned happened.  He knew that mankind was wicked and would end up killing Him.  Just sad how we are so quick to deny someone who gave so much.  In the end we will all stand before God and be held accountable for our actions and thoughts.  We will not know when that time will be, so be ready.  Are you? Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever used the Lords name in vain? By the looks of it, many are not. No thief or liar will inherit the kingdom of God. Repent (turn away from your sins) and trust in the savior, and you will have everlasting life.

    Just My Thoughts!

  11. He came here to take on the sins of the world, to die for our sins. He succeeded. We should thank Him daily and praise Him for saving us.

  12. Succeeded obviously. He came to die for the sins of mankind and that's just what He did.  Of course it's not over yet. He's going to return soon and set up His kingdom. God can't fail folks...it just ain't possible!

  13. Well, as for me I am filled with the  holyghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I speak in tongues every time that I fall on my knees to pray. The bible says the evidence of the holyghost is speaking in tongues as the holyspirit gives the utterance. That's what Jesus came down to do, redeem us from h**l by the giving away of the holyghost. That's our ticket to heaven. I believe he did an awesome job. What do  you think?

  14. He succeeded gloriously as He gave Himself up as a sacrifice for us then rose again to ascend into Heaven to wait for us there...we have only to receive this wonderful gift to be able to enjoy the blessings both now and when we join Him there!  Check Him out...you won't be sorry....

  15. He succeeded fully in His mission.

Centuries before His coming it was prophesied that "He shall not fail nor be discouraged" (Isaiah 42:4).

If He would not have gone to the Cross He would have failed in His mission.

  16. he never "came" to earth,he was already here.that's why he had so long to make a plan to trick people into believing he was a messiah and not just an illusionist. he did not bad eh?

  17. Both. He wasn't able to convince everyone...i.e. failure....but he was able to offer salvation to everyone...i.e. success.   But then, if God's purpose was to offer salvation, then I guess you would have to say that Jesus totally succeeded.

  18. Apparently, he failed, which is why there is a need for a Second Coming.

  19. It is impossible for the Lord to fail.  He is the meaning of success.

  20. he started oen of the most hateful religions ever massive success

  21. Complete success

    tGod bless

  22. I vote for success.

  23. JESUS SUCCEEDED !

He paid the penalty of sin and overcame death.

    Cool for us.
