  1. I call people like that "quote factories", and yes, it's because they can't actually answer the question with logic and reason.

Point out to them that even satan can quote scripture, and so their quotations are meaningless without an explanation attached to them.

  2. I think that when answering a question it is best to paste a section of the bible and THEN type the answer, or the other way around.

I think that the answer should be based off of the bible if necessary but that the person should still throw some personally thoughts and experience.

    Just a thought,

    great ?

  3. I am a Christian but I highly disagree with Bible scripture to answer something. No matter how religious a society is, to connect with everyone in the world you have to go by some sort of physical, real-world explanation (aka science, math, other common forms of communication). Think about it, would a Catholic use a Bible passage to a Muslim, Buddhist, etc to explain something? Personally I don't think so.

  4. No, maybe you just can not except the truth.  +?+

  5. No, They just did not answer the question very well.  We are all human and make mistakes.

  6. Well, yeah.  Why bother thinking when they can just say "goddidit."

  7. because we truly rely on God's Holy Words! As  a True Born Again Christ, i rather uses God's Holy Words to answer question for; Joh 15:4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Joh 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Joh 15:6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Joh 15:7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Joh 15:8  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Phi 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

    Besides, how could i use my onw wisdom about Spirituality?Joh 14:16  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Joh 14:17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Joh 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Eph 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph 4:31  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Eph 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

And finally; Col 3:13  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Col 3:14  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Col 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Col 3:16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Col 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Amen.

  8. Scripture is the only truth to a biblical question if that is what your asking.

    God loves you...God bless

  9. No, This answers the question if you have ears

    Matthew 3:10

Even now the ax of God’s judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire.

If you do not have love in your heart and you do not do  things to help people than everything done is in Vain

  10. Psalms 14:1  The fool has said in his heart,"There is no God."

  11. I don't cut and paste. I type.

    What's the difficult question?

  12. Its a substitute for thinking

  13. Makes about as much sense as an atheist asking question in the religion department wouldn't you say?  Sorry I answered your question without scripture didn't I. I guess that means you stereotype Christian also.

  14. I personally use the text itself - by 'pasting the sentence in question -  with only one reason: I wish to be exact to the spirit of what the text says. When Jesus was tempted, and in many other instances, He quoted many verses to answer correctly. I am no Jesus, and could make a mistake for other person interpret or understand my erroneous quoting and create a circumstance that may affect the person involved, i.e. when someone asks for advice on marriage, ethical situations or even something more delicate such as an operation or relationship with other person.

Other times I have to admit I do not know the answer and hope He may help me understand it later on in life and give more wisdom.

Hope this makes it clear for you.

  15. All it means is that, the question has been asked before, the answers are out there but some ppl are just plain lazy to seek them out and so Christians cut and paste for them. You hv a problem with that?

  16. Probably

  17. Ever heard of Sola Scriptura?

  18. No, they are trying to show a source for their answer, something alot of atheists can't be bothered doing

  19. It happens to be they just don't have the IQ to answer because they read the bible

  20. an "outdated" book that  has no need to be revised..its teachings do not change from day to day.It is steadfast and never changing. they cut and paste in order for you to read it for yourselves.

  21. because they thinks a outdated 2000 year old book is right
