How important is it to bring up what you beleive in? Should it be brought up on the first date? Would it be an issue if I was Atheist and she was a Christian? If we would have a lot of other things in common?

  1. I don't know if I'd bring it up on the first date but sometime in the first month. That's a more "getting to know you" question than I usually like on the first date.

Unless one of you is militant it should not cause any issue.

I asked a question about if one's husband or wife was of different faith, check it out through my profile. A few couples of mixed faith marriages responded, they all reported happily.

  2. It depends on her.  Many Christians choose to only date other Christians but not all Christians feel this way.  You don't need to bring it up straight away but quite early I would say.  Of course, if she brings the topic up then you should take that opportunity to run with the conversation.  Whether there is an issue depends on the person.  Just talk about it soon and see what happens.

  3. I think that it is VERY important. If you were an Atheist and she was a christan it prob. wont work so why waste each others time. I am a buddhist and i could never date someone who tried to PUSH their beliefs on me. I make sure that people know where i stand so that is normally brought up right away.

  4. If it's important to her, she will bring it up fairly quickly.
