If the service was excellent and you were treated like a loyal customer but the food didn't fit to your expectations that well (maybe you are trying it for the first time) and the price was reasonable, would you still go back?

  1. Sure.  It may have been a new cook, or maybe the cook was having an off day.  Just because the food wasn't that great one time doesn't mean it won't be good the next time.

  2. Great food is hard to get in restaurants - mediocre is about average, quality wise. Good ambiance, great service and mediocre food is what the restaurant undustry relies on and we all go back time after time, don't we?

  3. Service is great and all but what do you really go out to eat for?

    The food duh

I would suggest not returning unless you like the food.
