When Do You Become A Man?

When does a boy officially become a man? I'm 19 years old and people refer to me as a man. I'm married and puberty is over. I've also fathered a child with my wife. When do you become a man? Am I a man?

The boy decides when he's a man. If a boy has the wherewithal to declare himself an independent entity, he is henceforth a man. There is no rite of passage to become a man, like s*x. One must simply achieve independence of thought and action. Clearly you are a man. Why do you doubt yourself?
