Question:

When Does The Jiggly Go Away? LOL....?

Hi All,

Before getting pregnant I had a flat tummy with a little bit of muscle. Now that I am 6 months post pregnancy my tummy is almost flat again, but it has a layer of "jiggly" on top. I can feel the tighter muscles underneath... But I was wondering if just working out those muscles will take away that icky layer..... Also, I had a big big baby so I got A LOT of stretch marks...They have faded quite a bit, but I was wondering if once my tummy is firmed if the stretch marks will be less obvious... Thanks.

Also...another question..this is probably a stupid one, but I am going to ask anyway because I don't know the answer: If I tighten my abs back to where they were prepregnancy will that give me more stretchmarks with baby #2 ( we are going to start trying in the spring)..as opposed to just leaving it on the flabby side?

  1. I personally did not see the "jiggly" go away completely, no matter what I did.  It definitely made a difference with exercise, etc., but my stomach does not look like it did pre-babies.  Fortunately, I did not get stretch marks on my stomach.  I did however get some pretty good ones on my b***s, and they have definitely faded to where they are not noticeable.  As others have mentioned, I think it depends on your genetics, and from what I have seen, and what I have witnessed with my friends is that the stomach gets better with exercise, but it is never the exact same as it was before you had babies. Regarding your second question, I had rock-hard abs after my first and second pregnancy, and still did not get stretch marks with my second and third pregnancy.

  2. depends on your age, diet, exercise habits, heredity, ect but they usually go away quicker if your trying to get rid of them and not waiting for them to go away on their own..use your baby as an exercise tool squat with it fun for both of you, walk with stroller jog with stroller alot of things you can do   just as long as you tr you'll get it back, and also you might want to check out exercises you can do while pregnant and it can help reduce recovery time of the flat belly ect after birth

  3. Working out the muscles, getting abs, will make that jiggly go away. I know how you feel, I had a flat tummy pre-pregnancy, and now, erg! i lost most of the weight, but looking at the tummy and the stregth marks make me sad. Streght marks will go away (not completely but they wont seem like they are there as much as now) in a couple of years. My brothers had them, now they are pretty hard to notice. It wont matter if you are back to your normal weight or not, (as long as you arent bigger then you were when you are pregnant) they will go away in time (sucks right!) With the tummy, just do about 200 situps a day, and once ur body gets use to that, try a little more. Also running helps your core muscles too. I hope this helps, and good luck on baby #2!!

  4. The stretch marks unless you gain more weight will stay and if you gain the same amount of weight in your next pregnany there will be no more extra marks. As for loosing the flab.  YES..it is possible.  My sister (mother of two) Lost all of her preggo weight and got back to her old weight after a year.  You just have to eat organic and healthy food, no mayo butter or caca and work out 40 minutes a day 5 days a week.  Here is a picture of my sister. Best of luck! My sister is the first one in line.  Thats her in a competition..:)  She has a blog called Its all a big scam! Check it out.  She talks about all the c**p in a lot of the food..

  5. Your skin is already stretched, your abs are not your skin.  If you tighten your abs you might or might not have tight skin, but it already has the stretch marks ready for the next time you grow that way.  You will get a few new ones, but not many.

  6. mummy belly lasts forever n ever n ever :-D

bio oil good for stretch marks

more stretch marks second pregnancy no idea sorry
