  1. if ur doing a scratch spin, u hafta start with ur arms out above ur free leg, the pull them both in at the same time . its really ur arms that make u go faster.

  2. in easy language: leave your foot out untill you have found your balance aswell as your arms and then pull them in as fast or slow as you feel you need to! the quicker you pull in the faster you will spin and visa versa!!!! goodluck!

  3. you pull in your arms very tight like a double jump...

  4. Well you have to bring everything REAL tight. Like really, really tight! And stay centered, that way you go FASTER FASTER FASTER! WEEEEEE

also doing backwards corssovers into a spin, and gettin a real good wind up helpz a lotz 2!

    PEACE OUT!

  5. pull in your arms and l8r u will pull in ur leg

  6. Start with arms out then drag them in, reduction in radius of spinning weight increases rpms in accordance with 1/2mv2 physics rule,.

  7. Before pulling in your arms and free leg, hold the free leg out towards the air until you feel like your centered and balanced. Then gradually pull in your arms and free leg at the same time, and keep spinning with your arms tight towards you.

  8. If you do it from crossovers, reach forward with your arm and pull them in.

    The arm positions:

    -V shape

    -circle

    -bring them in

    -down

  9. Centriphical force should make you go faster. If you look at how professional figure skaters do thier routines, many will start with a one foot spin and then gradually bend thier extended knee (the leg that is horizontal). This brings the leg in closer causing greater ease of centriphical motion, which makes you go faster. You can then grab onto the blade and bring your skate towards the back of your head or bring your leg in, and crouch to the ground.

Im not a figure skater, but physics definatly take a large part in helping with this. It also helps to keep your balance :)

    Hope this helps
