  1. No, when you run the install for FF3 it automatically upgrades FF2.

    Hope that helps.


  2. Totally agree with Arend V.  

    * Too many of my favorite add-ons don't work on FF3, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled FF2 and I'm happy.  

    * Firefox 2 with Fasterfox is faster than Firefox 3 without it, and like so many other add-ons, Fasterfox is also not available for FF3.

    * Also, that drop-down bookmarks history menu can't be cleared. It can be made not to show, but it can't be cleared...

    Not at all happy with Firefox 3.

  3. You want to upgrade to fire fox 3. Do you use add-ons in fire fox 2 ?

    They will not work any more after you upgraded to fire fox 3.

    I love my add-ons and when I found out, that my add-ons did not work, I uninstalled fire fox 3 and reinstalled fire fox 2
