Gregg I picked up when Gagne went on the DL. And if you think I should drop Gagne, is there someone who is equal enough that is a starter or a reliever who I could trade for?

  1. Why on Earth do you want Gagne? He has a chance to elevate to closer again, but Salomon Torres will likely keep the role as long as he pitches well.

  2. Drop Gagne, i'm serious. He will not even be the closer, Torres has been doing a good job.

  3. Drop Gagne and get Ryan Franklin the St.Louis Cardinals reliever

  4. I would not pick up Gagne for 2 reasons

    I. His velocity and quality of stuff is down & Milwaukee fan base is not going to support his attempts to re-invent himself, so his risk of continued struggle is high

II. Salomon Torres is now the closer and holding on the the job with a series of no-run, few-hit performances

Also: I would drop Lester and pick up Gregg again, he is a steady source of saves and Lester's stuff is over-rated because of

    a) the no-hitter earlier in the season and

    b) he's still young and his control is questionable, thus will hurt your WHIP and sometimes ERA while not delivering enough strikeouts to make the tradeoff justifiable

  5. Do yourself a favor and drop Gagne now.  He is no longer the force that he once was.  Cut your losses now.
