When Hindus reverted to Islam over the centuries, which caste did most of them come from?

I'm sure "hindus of all castes reverted", but maybe some castes reverted more than others. Maybe it was the brahmins because of their high education, maybe it was dalits because of the discrimination of caste system ec. etc.?

I believe that it was the lower caste oppressed hindus who found solace in the lap of Islam. Brahmins usually find it pretty difficult to give up their tyrranical ways. Their high education usually never served to open their hearts and minds, since it has been particularly designed that way. U know, to tailor their specific needs.

Most likely the lower castes had more converts than the higher ones. The lower castes had less rights and found more rights in Islam (one reason why).

Hindus made one big mistake in understanding Islam and it's intentions. They took it as another belief system, to which they had no objection. But they were unaware of satanic facets imbeded in Islam.

Hinduism believes that at birth, all babies are just like babies of any animal. They are converted to human being by performing 16 SANSKARS spanning his/her entire life. Muslims believe all babies are born Muslims, though without reason, and they convert him/her to be more animalistic with teaching of Quran.

It is sheer tyranny, coersion and force of power, which was the cause of  initial conversion. No body converted to Islam for it's spiritual attributes.

Because of it's in built mechanism this conversion process has become one way traffic. If let loose, 90% of Muslims in India would jump Islam for Hinduism.

Hindu religion is older than Islam. So there is no question of 'reverted', only 'converted'. Conversion is due to various reasons - By force of the Rulers, By inducements, Frustration.
