Question:

When I'm PMS--ing I turn into the HULK, I throw and smash things, if i'm slightly provoked...i loose it. ?

i say horrible things wanting to kill everyone who gets in my way. Do you get like this too. How can I control it

  1. I don't get that,,but try your doctors they meight be able to give you something for your mood swings


  2. I sometimes get like that as well.. for me diet changes and plenty of rest usually help. Avoid sugary products and greasy foods while you're undergoing pms. Sugar has been guilty of aggravating emotions in such a way that they make one who usually eats rather healthy go mad. Also, try to avoid anything packaged ,and extremely processed (like, organic breakfast cereal with a few ingredients is okay, or even some types of flours that have like, 4 ingredients). Omega-3's are especially helpful in controlling emotions, so load up on the flax and oily fishies!

    Whatever you do, try to avoid stressful situations. If you know something you might say to someone will make them snap back, keep your mouth shut. It'd better to scream on the inside as opposed to showing everyone your emotions. Plus, when you do that, everyone will avoid you, and thus making your pms worse. So yes, sadly, it does take a lot f effort as well to control your pms.

  4. Dude I feel you.  Not PMS but when I went on birth control.  I told everyone ahead of time "I'm not myself, so watch out." Just try to relax, think positively, stay contained and talk to your doctor.  Midol may help but it's more for cramps.  Birth contorl might help too.
