When I'm old enough, would i be able to make it onto the Women's English Soccer Team?

Question

So that might sound a bit stupid but if i'm Canadian would i be able to play on England's women's soccer team?

And another question, does england have women's teams like liverpool and would i be able to play for those?

I'm just wondering.

First of all you have to be a brillant football player

Second you have to be an English citizen to be in the English football team

Third you can play in teams like liverpool etc withOUT a citizenship

You do have to be really exceptional to get into womens football these days. You have to live in England and not play for the Canadian national team, then after a certain amount of time you would be eligable to play for the England national team, unless you have English relatives in which case citizenship becomes less of an issue. And yes a lot of the teams in England now have womens teams as well. Arsenal by a long way are the best womens team in England at the moment, Everton are another good team as well.
