When I'm reading a City Bus schedule, what does it mean by "Outbound" and "Inbound" times?

  1. Outbound - when it leaves the station (or bus stop)

    Inbound - when it reaches the station (or bus stop)

    Some buses will arrive at a stop and wait for passengers for  fifteen minutes before continuing on, so those times might be different.


  2. Normally the bus uses a city location as its base. Anything leaving that base location is Outbound. Anything returning to the base in Inbound.

  4. When the bus route is from the suburbs vs. center of the city, inbound means headed towards the center of the city, and outbound means headed towards the outside of the city.
